there are wars that are lost as soon as you take part in the fight.
the battle of the sexes, is one that is still going on in the workplace, where gender can determine pay rate and conditions, where the glass ceiling is still often in effect, this is a battle for control, the right to control how businesses run based on merit rather than chromosomes.
when it comes to interpersonal relationship, to join the battle is to lose. the object of both parties should be to provide pleasure for the other and bask in it together, if it becomes a question of control then the opportunity for shared joy almost completely disappears.
