do numbers have a signifigance all of their own?
i know the numerologists will ascribe one to them 1 is for the self, 2 is the picture of a person kneeling looking towards another [once you have the other half it makes a love heart]
this morning a lovely long time resident of surrey thought i was taking a picture of a placard in her garden, spent time telling me the history of grey lynn since 1964, and explained the sign.
he is a property developer
excuse me?
well he cant just change the number like that, how can a house have two numbers?
at this point i went to read the sign, her new neighbour had renumbered his house, it was on a corner so he moved the number to the other street, her street.
i am not sure exactly what it mattered to her, but she was lovely and it did matter.
perhaps being number 1 is not as nice when there is a 1A
