even the faintest of an overheard whisper that one may be followed, tailed: this is enough to trigger a sense of hyper awareness in the pursued.

every bunny hopping car, an elderly man meandering along the road slightly erratically, just the slightest hint of unusual behavior garners closer inspection.

what could one possibly do to combat the surveillance?

well it never hurts to write down details

if there are fuckwit security guards like you , i don’t want to come back

a crowd of people gather around the escalator shaft to witness the source of all this commotion.

around the crowd silently going about the business of putting books back on the shelf are some of auckland’s rock and roll royalty. you have to have a sharp eye for this, so lo key is the almost robot like movement of the people with the trolleys.

here you can find the cds, the research room is upstairs…

i know the library thanks. hey you’re stevie right?

yes

are you still dancing?

they haven’t kneecapped me yet

every monday night in the backroom of the wine cellar in st kevin’s arcade in auckland, a group of muscians get together to celebrate the joy of free expression, in the no-form of non-idiomatic improvisation.

vitamin s  have been running these pool nights for over six years now, 6 artist are picked randomly from a pool of 100 and put into two trios, each trio performing a set of up to 45 minutes in length.

there is something so fleetingly beautiful about witnessing the creation of a piece of music that could only happen in that one time and place.

to be uncompromising does not always mean to be aggressive.

gem indigo, organic farmer, improvisational musician. his music is a meander through his mind with no concessions made to structure or form. he deftly handles his guitar, playing whatever crosses his mind.

a wild organic landscape of guitar
